- Cabot Acrylic S.P.F.Deck & Fence Exterior Stain
- S.P.F. provides a level of water-repellency and UV protection beyond conventional wood treatments
- Can be applied just hours after rain or surface washing because of its moisture-friendly (hydrophilic) water-based resin system that actually uses surface moisture to penetrate and level
- For use on: exterior deck or fence substrates such as pressure-treated pine, all types of cedar, redwood, fir, cypress, spruce and even hardwoods such as mahogany
- For damp dry wood
- Tinting, Intermixing
- Cabot S-P-F should never be tinted. Intermixing with any of the other S-P-F colors will achieve additional tones
- Coverage: on smooth surfaces, approximately 300-400 square feet per gallon; 150-250 on rough surfaces. These rates will vary depending upon the moisture content and porosity of the surface
